Time had passed quickly, it was getting late,
he was driving home from their first date,
still feeling her kiss upon his lips;
receiving something he never sought,
replaying memories, lost in thought,
just trying to get a grip.
Some things are hard to understand,
how unexpected things are never planned,
he met her online, so he did hesitate;
but her pictures hadn’t done her justice,
for in person she was much more luscious,
and that dress, was flattering to her shape.
He wore a suit and she her high heels,
each one sharing just how they feel,
was this more than they bargained?;
as easy as things had fell,
conversation had gone really well,
enjoying their first meal at Olive Garden.
He drove her home, not expecting more,
always a gentleman, walk her to the door,
she invited him in and he did approve;
it was the kitchen where it all began,
was this something that she had planned?,
he forgot, who made the first move?
It was quick and unexpected,
how his senses seemed so affected,
and then her tongue was in his mouth;
overpowering in energetic heaps,
pulsating and contortive sweeps,
like a symphony removing all doubt.
Freeing their tongues to do a dance,
eyes clenched shut, lost in a trance,
hands feverishly moving all over;
deliciously synced and lengthy,
matching his same passion and energy,
embracing the moment completely sober.
In this passion he could drown,
as if time had just slowed down,
lost in something radical;
like blinded eyes that are just now seeing,
like a caged spirit just now freeing,
he thought one word, magical.
Yes, he thought, that was the word,
it was the reason everything else blurred,
why his drive home alone felt so bliss;
risking his heart she could win,
he decided he would do this again,
another time to experience that Magical Kiss.
