I could see the moonlight glowing in her eyes,
a longing fire, hauntingly undescribed;
like a helpless soul, drawn to the light,
my mind scrambled and body unwilling to fight.
An apparition? a fantasy? a vision of an endless night?,
her tempting ways could make her the devil in disguise,
but suddenly I offer myself to her freely, as a sacrifice,
because I’d risk everything and all, just to feel alive.
Beyond the grave, beyond the AfterLife,
a hunger of energy seems to be the drive;
a twisted soul caught within a plight,
she promises to love me forever, if I step into the light.
Amongst the darkness our energies thrive,
it’s like a dream, on a cold winter’s night;
so many things with me, she wants to try,
breathlessly, I’ve never felt more alive.
Lady in Black wants me to hold onto her tight,
she pulls me close and I can feel the heat within the night;
to be with her, beyond the portal, within the AfterLife,
I would sacrifice it all, I would pay any price.
Make it last forever, and my soul will take flight,
let me live on the edge, with you, my guiding light;
make it reach beyond the stars, beyond the evening skies,
let me swim endlessly, in your dreamy green eyes.
Thinking of her keeps me awake, makes my soul want to thrive,
dreaming of her keeps me asleep, makes my heart able to survive;
seeing her makes me breathless, like I’m oxygen deprived,
being with her keeps me sain, keeps me going, keeps me alive.
Her beautiful face, my feelings are now beyond control,
the way we feel together, is set as my endless goal;
in my broken heart, she mysteriously fills my hole,
I turn to her and tenderly say to her, “Take my Soul.”
