In a dark time, the eye begins to see,
At odds with circumstance? The week’s on fire!:
Dark, dark my light, and darker my desire,
A lord of night weeping amongst the tree.
I know the purity of pure despair,
I feel the fell of dark, not day,
Time creeps by, in yet longer light’s delay.
I see the pretend, and feel the uncare.
My soul is dark? I’m a monster? Oh! My bad,
A Moment – We uncertain step;
And same ole Road – Not erect,
I meet my shadow in the deepening mad!
A difference, was promised in new light,
Death of the self in a long, tearless night;
New breath, wind blows, end of fight,
But lies are echoing, and brings this dark night!
I am storm, a gush, of spirit a dull sour. I see,
Bitter would have me taste: my taste was me;
My shadow pinned against a raging sea,
I am fury, I am heartache. Karma’s most deep decree.
