They speak the pretty words in my eye,
The moving lips tell me lies;
Words that have moved and swayed;
Leading all to be betrayed.
I pretend to not know the truth.
As some silly child in his youth;
No matter what anyone every claims,
To me, its simply all the same.
Try to ignite me with your spark,
But I see what they all do beneath the dark;
Cast a shadow through the hole,
It cuts me deep if I had a soul.
Look inside I have no blame,
Feel the heat of my burning flame;
The darkest parts begin to pierce,
My energy burns like something fierce.
Avoid my eyes or you will swoon,
To their color, the red blood moon;
I am not a perfect guy,
But I possess the spirit who’ll never die.
People cut with words and their fanged tooth,
When you look at me, I am truth;
They are light, perfect, their own little Judgmental God,
I am darkness, carefree, a freak and little bit flawed.
I am he, the one, how can I be clear?
While others run and hide, I’m he without the fear;
Seasons have past and soon no more fun,
Darkness is coming, and the reaping will be done.
