One day I woke up as a monster,
depression poisoning heart and soul;
sensing rage of anger without any mercy,
darkest dreams to consume me whole.
Struggling to keep a little sanity,
making life so hard to cope;
drowning in a nightmare of misery,
sinking isolation causes me to lose all hope.
My sorrow is lovingly nurtured,
with physical violence and neglect;
head voices echoing degrading gloom,
and dripping words of reject.
The walls seemingly closing in,
my convictions torture and demean,
uttering vile words like weapons,
to destroy all my self-esteem.
To never really be loved by anyone,
everyone gets used is what it seems;
endlessly being hunted down by evil,
horrific things happen in my darkest dreams.
The world’s face of judgment,
show that not one person cares,
ignoring suffering through traumatic pain,
critical status achieved, so please beware.
To battle with all my strength,
and finally lose all will to fight;
desolation to annihilate my soul,
in my darkest dreams I take my own life.
