Yes I got married, my burdens are carried,
My mouth pours out things that are true;
My happiness is plenty, I’m faithful to many,
My Bleeding Heart belongs to all of you.
No words ever spoken, for the weak or the broken,
No one to stand and fight for you;
The world gave a frown, tried to burn my life down,
But I rose up from the ashes for you.
Your heart did bleed, you were desperate in need,
Your world was shattered a part;
My chronicles you did read, your spirit became freed,
You wasn’t the only one with a Bleeding Heart.
You dealt with liars and cheaters, and some wife beaters,
Left you crying and hurt over a breakup;
My words were on fire, for your soul to inspire,
Forever, I will always lift you up.
I feel your affection, we have a connection,
Together we know we are free;
Not just a symbolic token, I’m married to all who’s broken,
Together we all hold the key.
When you’ve lost that spark, and your world is dark,
Remember these words I speak are smart;
Maybe you can’t see, Like a ship lost at sea,
Read the chronicles of My Bleeding Heart.
It will be ok, I’ll guide your way,
I’m here to answer your plea;
Know that it’s true, I stand with you,
Say the word and I’ll part the sea.
